Are you wondering who this "Costello" man is? Well wonder no more people. Here's a short bio on myself... I promise 99.99% of the information below is true. My name is Stephen Costello, I'm 22 years old and live in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Education

In 2003 I enrolled at the University of Ulster to study Interactive Multimedia Design. Four years on I'm pleased to say I have finished my studies and am now embarking on setting up my own business.

Experience

Part of my degree involved a year long placement working within the web development industry. I got an amazing job working along side Phil Houston and Gordon Crawford at the University of Ulster - Jordanstown on the Personal Development System. Throughout that year I learnt many new skills such as PHP and developed my knowledge of XHTML and CSS to a new level. This was an amazing experience which gave me lots of confidence and a chance to work in a great environment. I've come to understand that nothing beats real life experience.

Taking "time out" for me involves running about a field chasing a ball for 90 minutes. I love sports in general but mainly football and rugby, watching or playing its all the same to me. I try to visit Anfield at least 4 times a season.

Church

Away from work I enjoy playing guitar and being part of my local church Elim Christian Centre. I play in the church worship band and lead the youth band. We are one of very few churches in Northern Ireland to have our own media department, I head up this ministry.

Travel

I also enjoy doing charity / Christian mission work during the summer or when the opportunity arises. In 2004 I spend a month in the Philippines working with Helping Hands a Christian charity who care for children in one of the nations poorest hospitals. This was a humbling experience and one that will live with me forever. I have also visited New York twice to work with Bill Wilson and the Metro Ministries team in ghetto's such as the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Harlem. Like the Philippines trip visiting these ghetto's opened my eyes to the real world. All these opportunities along with being a youth leader at one of the largest churches inner city Belfast has given me a lot of leadership experience
